An AMAZING book with lots of detail & description of a passionate ER doctor and his experiences! Wow! I couldn't put it down! An easy book to pick up and read a couple of chapters, or the entire book in one sitting! Looking for a good cry or laugh? Or just want to learn about a subject many of us don't ever encounter. This book is it! (J. Cline) It was excellent! You had me laughing and crying, and always entertained. I hope that this is the first of many books to come. Please keep writing! (S. Devol)
About the Author
Dr. Louis M. Profeta is a practicing Emergency Physician residing in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a medical educator and frequent guest on radio and television. He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards for contributions to public safety including the Red Cross Certificate of Recognition for his medical assistance at a department store bombing. Dr. Profeta is a consultant for the U.S. Men's Olympic Gymnastics Team. Dr. Profeta has authored numerous papers, lectures and abstracts on Emergency Medicine and is a popular and noted blogger on Sermo, the largest physician networking site in North America. His articles on LinkedIn on ebola, phones, and pushy parenting have been going viral.

Fantastic account of the experience of modern medicine and life.

"The Patient in Room Nine Say's He's God" is an amusing and emotional roller-coaster from beginning to end. Dr. Profeta shares with the reader multiple accounts and short stories from his career as a seasoned Emergency Medicine Physician. He has a wonderful way of conveying meaningful messages that he has learned through these experiences that will leave you feeling enriched and enlightened. I highly recommend reading this book if you want to remember what is truly important in life.

As an E.R. doc of more than a few years experience I found Doctor Profeta's book to be "right on the mark". His perceptions of emergency medicine and life in general shine with intelligence and compassion and are an extraordinarily intimate and incisive account of the realities of life and work in the E.R.
